Students of Faculty of Accounting - Auditing, Class K13409C and K14409C, will make a trip to 3M Vietnam Co., Ltd.
1. About 3M
3M is a leading America's corporation in the fields of research, development and innovative technology. 3M provides optimal solutions for its clients in order to fulfill production's needs and the plant's safety applying in more than 70,000 creative products. 3M operates globally (also in Vietnam) and trades its products in over 200 countries, including products in the automotive industry, industrial fields, household and office, electricity, telecommunications, health, labor protection and so on. 3M Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in November, 1994 in Ho Chi Minh City. It is the 61st branch of 3M Corp.
2. Program
- Students will be visiting the manufacturing processes, including raw material manufacture, production and consumption
- Students will be introduced to the company's accounting functions, such as: using accounting software, bookkeeping, processing internal audit
- After this field trip, students are required to make a report about what he has learnt and experienced during the trip.
3. Time
The field trip will begin at 8:30 am, 20th April, 2015 at 3M's office: 77 Hoang Van Thai, Tan Phu, District 7, HCMC.
