“Accounting and auditing expedition” contest

“Accounting and auditing expedition” contest, which was first hosted by WAPA CLUB, attracted many students from the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing. This is an academic competition including 2 rounds:

Round 1: Multiple-choice questions about IQ Test, Economy, Society and Finance.

Round 2: Following the format of the “Ring the Golden Bell” game show and 50 best competitors chosen from round 1 would enter this round.

In order to amaze contestants, early in the morning, the organizers came to Main Hall to prepare the recreation ground as well as backstage work. After being carefully arranged, the contest finally began with an impressive performance from class K13409 – “Gentle men”. The hall became hotter than ever, which somehow made participants more confident and enthusiastic.

The first question was about Geography, after 15 seconds of thinking, competitors had to raise their board with answer on it. Quite many students were eliminated by this quiz. Questions did not only focus on professional knowledge but also scatter on other fields like economy, society, culture, education, sports, English, and so on. The contestants did need to understand all of these things in large scale. Sometimes, there were exciting performances from supporters to fire up candidates.

The ninth quiz defeated all students, so “Help team” had to play a game to bring them back. Contestants continued with a mathematic exercise that apparently confused them. Hence, there were just 6 students left after the eleventh question and class K11405B was getting the upper hand.

The fourteenth question asked them about Binh Phuoc province of Vietnam with many hints. Nevertheless, no students knew the answer so they had to rely on the second help. After next 2 questions, with his strength and luck, Hoang Kim Minh from class K13409 became the best contestant of “Accounting and auditing expedition 2014”. Finally, he stopped at the nineteenth question and won a valuable prize from WAPA club.

WAPA club is so grateful to your participation and strong support. We also appreciated the judges and “Help team” assisting us to finish this competition successfully.

Thank you so much and see you soon.
