A field trip to Ajinomoto Vietnam Factory

As part of training program for Honor Class, Department of Accounting and Auditing organized a field trip for 3rd  -year and final year students in order to gain experience in local businesses, factories and authorities. This experience provides students with a very close view of how the company operates in real life.

On Oct. 15th, 2013, students of 405T, 405A and 405B classes were led by their advisers to have a visit of Ajinomoto Vietnam. The trip includes: visiting manufacturing operation, observing the production process, and understanding the relationship between production department and others in the manufacturing cycle.

(Ajinomoto Vietnam had a warm welcome to the School tour)

After the operation visit, participating students were capable of applying accounting theories learning from school to choose the appropriate costing methods for the production process in the enterprises.  It is definitely quite a unique learning experience, particularly for those students considering a career in manufacturing company.
