Faculty of Accounting and Auditing attended Partner in Learning (PiL) Conference 2016 and ICAEW CFAB workshop

During the time from 26th to 29th of September 2016, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing attended Partner in Learning (PiL) Conference 2016 and ICAEW CFAB workshop, which was hold by Institution of Charter Accountant of England and Wales. The event attracted a large number of ICAEW’s partners in learning, higher education institutions and representatives of labour market who shared their perspectives in related topics. The conference introduced the structure, design and assessment forms of ICEAW CFAB certificate, ACA qualification and more importantly, the practical experiences from real cases in delivering high quality of training program. Moreover, a wide range of viewpoints from both academicians and practioners was contributed and analysed, which offered participants a compelling insight of modern teaching methodologies in integrating industry’s needs with training activities. The conference was considered a great opportunity for lecturers of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing to keep updating the conditions of current market and especially, to affirm the Faculty’s pedagogy orientation which respect the role of professional training in addition to academic education.
