The Twenty-sixth Asian-Pacific Conference on
International Accounting Issues will be held on October 26-29, 2014 in Taipei,
Taiwan, R.O.C., co-sponsored by National Taipei University and Taiwan Accounting
Association. The conference will provide an important forum for the interaction
of different ideas and information between academicians and practitioners, in
order to enhance the understanding of international accounting and business
issues in various countries.
This year, two academic staff of the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing will present in the Conference. Dr Phan Thi Hong Duc will present her paper "Potential adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Vietnam: from legitimacy to isomorphism" on Monday 27 October 2014. In the next day, Tuesday 28 October 2014, Dr Phan Duc Dzung will present his paper "Factors affecting cost
volatility in Vietnam's manufacturing enterprises".
