Dear Students,
After three weeks, without huge support from ACCA Vietnam and Smart Train Center, the journey seeking for talented contestants for “Conquering the peak of Accounting and Finance” competition could never successfully ended on May 24th, 2014.
First of all, we are so grateful to have support from: dedicated lecturers of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing and generous sponsors - ACCA Vietnam and Smart Train Center. Before starting the contest, judges had sent very faithful encouragement and sincere motivation to competitors. More fantastically, Ms. Bien Thi Hang Nga, the representative of ACCA Vietnam, with a song named “Road to glory” and Ho Ha Vien with another lovely song, had created the vibrant atmosphere and somehow reduced the pressure and nervous tension in the room. For a certain, we would like to thank all students for coming to the competition.
In the finals, 9 best contestants chosen from the preliminary and semi-final rounds were divided into 3 teams, named: ACCIACS, ETHICS and IAS.
It was a very thrilling race among 3 teams to win the championship. At the beginning, through 2 parts: “Get start” and “Quick reaction”, IAS leaded temporarily with total score was 70 points. However, the competition was getting more aggressive and unpredictable along with the time. Finally, after 4 sections named: “Get Start”, “Quick Mind”, “Challenge” and “Competition”, ETHICS won the first rank with 200 points, followed by IAS with 143.3 points and ACCIACS with 136.7 points. The outstanding girl Nguyen Thi Kim Phuc from Intake 11, Class K11405A finished her eloquent speech and won “Best contestant” award.
With an exciting game for audience, many students received gifts from sponsors, such as: notebook, backpack, film tickets and so on. More importantly, through this contest, students could learn useful knowledge and accumulate a lot of experience. The competition is also an opportunity for you to explore your ability. We hope to see all of you in upcoming contest with your shining talent!!!
Eventually, the contest: “Conquering the peak of Accounting and Finance”, along with anxious and nervous feeling of candidates as well as organizers, went off in the first season. The only thing remains is the friendship, solidarity and a glorious reward for champions.
