On November 15th, 2013, students of Class K11405T and K10405T, under the leading of Dr. La Xuan Dao, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh and MSc. Nguyen Thi Khoa, had an interesting field trip to Phu My Fertilizer Plant, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
The group was warmly welcomed by the plant manager and received detail instruction from dedicated team of Phu My Plant. After watching a video clip introducing about the whole process of operation as well as safety procedure of the plan, the group visited some areas of the factory, such as: technical operation department, the packaging department, ammonia department, urea department, finished product department and other departments.
The trip provided much useful knowledge about factory management, manufacturing processes such as: “Plying system” and so on. This is a valuable experience for students to learn more about the activities of one of the most modern factories in Vietnam. Following is a picture of the trip:
