On October 31st 2014, a ceremony was held to announce a decision to appoint Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Head of Department of Accounting to the post of Department of Accounting-Auditing’s Dean. All members of Department of Accounting- Auditing (the Department) attended to send best wishes to their new leader.
Attending the ceremony, from the Board of Presidents, University of Economics and Law (UEL), there is the presence of:
- Professor Nguyen Tien Dung, Rector
- Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Vice Rector
- Dr. Duong Nhu Hung, Vice Rector
- MSc. Vo Van Trong, Vice Manager of Office for Organization-Administration
At the ceremony, Rector Nguyen Tien Dung read the Decision and announced that Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh would be the new Dean for the upcoming period. She has received the significant high credibility vote from the Department ‘s faculties. In her acceptance speech, at the presence of the audience, the new Dean Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh expressed her honor and gratitude to the UEL's Board of Presidents and all staffs for their nominating her. She promised to contribution her best along with all of the staffs to build a stronger Department of Accounting- Auditing.
Rector Nguyen Tien Dung said he highly appreciated Dr. La Xuan Dao, the previous Dean, for her contributions during the time she was in charge of leading the Department. In recent years, along with her leading, the Department was recognized as a high quality teaching brand by Big 4, the largest and most renowned consulting firms in the world. She continues to support the new Board of the Department and keep dedicating her talent for the success of both UEL and the Department.
