Today, Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) is involved strongly in the process of integration with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This trend raises a big concern about the scope of teaching VAS in undergraduate program in Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.

On August 13, 2014, CPA Australia held a seminar about “Scope of teaching accounting standards in higher education programs for students majoring in Accounting and/or Auditing” at their office with the presence of Dr. Dang Xuan Canh, Dr. Phan Dung, MSc. Dinh Tan Tuong, Mr. Lam Quang Tuan and all teachers from Faculty of Accounting and Auditing- University of Economics and Law.

During the seminar, participants discussed issued concerning about teaching VAS in schools and applying it in reality.
