On the afternoon of Jan 12th 2015, Mr. Enrico Letta, Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy (Italy), gave a speech at the Hall of Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City, during his working visit to Vietnam for discussion on Free Trade Agreement and the relationship between Vietnam and Italy.
In the meeting, Prof. Nguyen Tien Dung, Rector of University of Economics and Law (UEL), expressed his happiness for the fact that the traditional peaceful relation between Italy and Vietnam has been growing up in many fields. Also, many faculties' lecturers of UEL expressed their interest in participating in the Free Trade Agreement and hoped that this agreement would significantly contribute to the cooperation of two countries in many aspects, especially on Education.
