On November 24-25th, 2014, the 29th International Business Research Conference was held in Sydney with an intention to bring together academics and researchers worldwide to exchange and share their knowledge, experiences and research works about all broad areas of Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economic, Management and Marketing, Business Law, Business Ethics, Business Educations and E-business. This conference was organized by World Business Institute, Australia and sponsored by eight international peer reviewed journals.

There are participants from 22 different nations from all over the world. This year, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, University of Economics and Law, was the only representatives from Vietnam presenting in this conference. More specifically, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh and MSc. Tran Thien Truc Phuong, Faculty of International Economic Relations, University of Economics and Law, are the co-authors of two papers: "M&A and Employees Satisfaction: The case of Vietnam Banking Industry" (Paper No. 450) and "The Impact of Government Policies on Foreign Direct Investment: The Vietnamese Services Industry" (Paper No. 323). However, due to personal reasons, MSc. Tran Thien Truc Phuong could not present in the Conference but Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh performed successfully their work.
