On 17/10/2014, in Room 308, a meeting was held successfully to collect vote of trust for new Dean position of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, leading by Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Vice Rector of University of Economics and Law (UEL), Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City. 

Attending the meeting, there is presence of:

-       Dr. Hoang Cong Gia Khanh, Vice Rector of University of Economics and Law

-       MSc. Ha Thanh Minh, Manager of Office for Organization and Administration

-       MSc. Vo Van Trong, Vice Manager of Office for Organization and Administration

About Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, there are presences of:

-       Dr. La Xuan Dao, Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

-       Dr. Phan Duc Dung, Vice Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

-       And all staffs of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

The most important mission of this meeting was the nomination for new Dean position including suggesting candidates and collecting vote of trust for nominees. According to the appointment standards and the development and integration strategy of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, two lecturers were nominated for the new Dean position, name listed in alphabetical order as below:

1. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Head of the Department of Accounting
2. Dr. Phan Duc Dung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

There were 22 staffs of the Faculty participated in this nomination and 3 options as follow:

1. Agree with both nominated candidates
2. Disagree with both nominated candidates
3. Agree to only one candidate and disagree with the rest

As the current Head of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, Dr. La Xuan Dao shared sincerely her thoughts and her experiences about completed, ongoing and expected responsibilities that she have done as well as the new Dean will be responsible of for the academic year 2014-2015.

Alternatively, through this meeting, several staffs shared their opinion concerning about the recent policies related to science research requirement hours, according to new Decision issued by Rector of UEL. They also suggested some ideals and made some recommendations for the further development of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.

The meeting ended warmly and successfully at 3:30 pm.
