“Audit Theory” and “Applied Auditing” are mandatory subjects in the Bachelor of Accountancy program at University of Economics and Law (UEL). These courses will give you the tools to not only understand the concepts, principles of auditing but also to apply your learning to the real-world situations, for instance, performing completely an audit procedure. Indeed, however, there is currently a lack of study resources for these two important compulsory courses in the book market. Hence, in order to assist students in the process of self-learning and to help students develop their self-studying skills effectively, a group of authors, with the lead of Dr. La Xuan Dao, chief author, provided the two above books as useful studying materials for the auditing courses.

According to the Evaluation Committee, these audit books are a great work and can be highly applicable in real life. The council eventually made a decision to publish these books and keep them as the critical official teaching materials in school. Below is the picture of the meeting:
