Presenting at the 26th Asian-Pacific Conference on international accounting issues in Taiwan

With the vision to become a research university in 2020, members of the Accounting and Auditing Faculty are actively participating in research activities and each year some faculties have been invited to attend and report their latest scientific researches at several popular, prestige conferences around the world.

Most recently, two representatives from the Accounting and Auditing Faculty have presented at the 26th Scientific Conference on the theme “Asia-Pacific and the difficulties in applying international accounting standards” in Taipei, Taiwan from October 26th to October 30th 2014 (APC 26th). Following is brief information about their presentations:

  1. Dr. Phan Thi Hong Duc with a research about “Potential adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Vietnam: from legitimacy to isomorphism” in Session 2 (D), VIP Room R7, at 14:00, Oct 27th, 2014
  2. Dr. Phan Duc Dung with a study about “Factors affecting Vietnam's manufacturing cost volatility in Style" in Session 4 (F), VIP Room R10, at 10:15, Oct 28th, 2014.

Regretfully, due to personal reasons, Dr. Phan Duc Dung could not present in the Conference but Dr. Phan Thi Hong Duc perfomed successfully her part.
