On 12th January, 2015 the University of Economics and Law held a meeting with the delegation from Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) to discuss about future plans of two universities.
Attending the meeting, from Swinburne University of Technology, there presences of:

- Associate Prof. Denis Vinen, Deputy Department Chair, Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance
- Ms Bui Thi Nhu Huyen, Chief Representative of the representative office of SUT in Vietnam
From University of Economics and Law, there were presences of:
- Associate Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Dien, Vice Rector
- Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing
- Dr. La Xuan Dao, Head of Auditing Department
- Ms. Le Bich Thuy, Head of Office of International Relations
- Ms Trinh Ha Phuong, Vice Director of Center for International Programs
The meeting ended successfully and warmly, bringing many prolonged association opportunities between two schools.
