On October 26th, 2015, Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, University of Economics and Law (UEL) organized a workshop to gather opinions about opening of Master of Science in Accounting courses (MSc in Accounting).
Attending the workshop, from the Board of Presidents, University of Economics and Law, there were the presence of:
- Associate Prof. Nguyen Tien Dung – Rector
- Associate Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Dien – Vice Rector
- Dr. Le Tuan Loc – Vice Rector
- Dr. Hoang Cong GiaKhanh – Vice Rector
- Dr. Duong Nhu Hung – Vice Rector
In addition, the conference attracted many lecturers, experts in the field of training MSc in Accounting; alumni and representatives of enterprises, such asAssociate Prof. Nguyen Xuan Hung (University of Economics HCMC), Dr. Tang Tri Hung (Ton DucThang University).
On behalf of UEL, Associate Prof. Nguyen Tien Dung gave a speech to open the conference, putting emphasis on the necessityto open the MSc in accounting courses at UEL. Afterward, Dr. Nguyen ThiLanAnh – Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Auditing presented the details of the project.
During the seminar, there were a lot of suggestions from Board of Presidents of UEL, representatives of departments, other universities and enterprisesfor perfecting the project about: outcome standards,curriculum, approaches, structureand volume of training courses.
On Faculty of Accounting and Auditing’s behalf, Dr. Nguyen ThiLanAnhexpressed her gratitude to the UEL's Board of Presidents and all participants for their ideas. And she promised to amend scheme to meet the requirements for opening course of MSc in accounting.
The workshop ended warmly and successfully.
