Scholarship granting & Opening ceremony of the training program for international certificate in finance, accouting and business(CFAB)

On 9 April 2016, Univresity of Economics and Law held a scholarship granting and Opening ceremony of the training program for international certificate in finance, accouting and business. The scholarship was granted to 30 studens of University of Economics and Law according to a project named "Training excellent student".

With the computer- based ICAEW CFAB assessement exams are availvable all year round, at any ICAEW approved test centre.Students are given 1.5 hours (90 minutes) to complete each CFAB exam.



When attending the the training program for certificate in finance, accouting and business(CFAB), students are fully provided not only knowledge about Vietnamese policy in the field of law, tax, finance, accounting and auditing but also essential career skills. Attending the course, students have chances to visit the office, even become interns in ICAEW's partner firms. Specially, after finishing the course and graduation, ICAEW will give many supports for best exam result's students by introducing them oppurtunities to work with ICAEW's partner either in Viet Nam or in ASIA zone( Malaysia Singapore). Assoc. Prof. PhD Nguyen Tien Dung, Rector of University of Economics And Law( Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh city) said that the collaboration with ICAEW will help University of Economics and Law reach the strategic mission. These objectives includes attain the international standard, deeply and comprehensively quality of training and researching, business skills, which not only enhance the career chances for students, but also create a close connection between academic education and professional training in the field of finance and accounting in order to satisfactorily meet the economic development demand in regional and international standard. "This cooperation can be a great help in training and nourishing high- quality human resources with international standard, which brings value to Viet Nam finance - accounting's human resources" said Ms Dang Thi Mai Trang, the representative of ICAEW.
