University of Economics and Law welcomes Director of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)

On 10 October 2016, Mr. Duong Nhu Hung, PhD, Vice Rector and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, PhD, Dean of Faculty of Accounting – Auditing warmly welcomed Mr. Mark Billington, Regional Director of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and ICAEW Vietnam Presentative.

Mr. Duong Nhu Hung, PhD brieftly introduced the process of foundation, achievements of education and international cooperation that University of Economics and Law. Meanwhile, he emphasized on our missions, visions, targets and commitments in education. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, PhD expressed her appreciation to ICAEW for their support of scholarships for our excellent students, sponsor to lecturers in term of helpful resources and opportunities in participating international seminars.

Mr. Mark Billington, Regional Director of ICAEW appreciated University of Economics and Law for our development and prestige during the past time. He also told that national and international employers who cooperate with ICAEW appreciate human resources of Vietnam and our school. Meanwhile, he confirmed cooperation between ICAEW and UEL is the important and strategic one of ICAEW in Viet Nam. Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang – Head of ICAEW Vietnam Representative hopes ICAEW Vietnam and Faculty of Accounting – Auditing deploy the detailed plans promptly with the target of fostering and developing faculty students and ex-students to enhance their career opportunities, meet the market needs better when Viet Nam joins ASEAN Economics Community.
